Cameron MacDonald’s journey in Media Arts began with challenge and perseverance. Like many young artists exploring emergent technologies, he initially found it difficult to translate his creative vision into digital form. However, everything changed when Cameron began using a Wacom tablet and pen to create digital paintings in Adobe Photoshop. This new tool unlocked a more natural and expressive way of working, allowing him to develop his project workflow and a distinctive artistic voice. His work is now instantly recognizable for its unique mark-making and bold, personal colour palette. The slide below documents Cameron’s creative evolution, and we look forward to seeing where his talent takes him as he continues in the Media Arts program.
