Gr. 11 Media Arts (Open) My Creative Hero Project

The Creative Hero Project challenges students to celebrate an individual who embodies creativity, innovation, and impact across any field—from the arts and design to science, technology, sports, or social change. Using skills developed in Adobe Illustrator, students will create a detailed vector portrait of their chosen hero, focusing on precision with the Pen Tool, shape construction, and layering techniques.

Alongside technical execution, students will apply colour theory to enhance mood, symbolism, and visual storytelling, making intentional choices that reflect their hero’s personality and influence. This project is an opportunity to merge technical skill with conceptual thinking, resulting in a visually compelling tribute to the power of creative energy in shaping the world.
