Welcome to the Summer E-Learn Media Arts (ASM2O8G)

Hello everyone,

I’m Mr. Galang, and I’m excited to welcome you to the ASM 2O8G Summer E-Learn Media Arts course! I hope you’re all ready for an engaging and creative summer.

Course Description:
This course enables students to create media artworks using available and emerging technologies, including computer animation, digital imaging, video, and other media. Students will explore the elements and principles of media arts, the connections between contemporary media artworks and traditional art forms, and the importance of responsible practices in the creative process. Students will develop the skills necessary to create and interpret media artworks.

Important Information:
To succeed in this course, every student must have access to a reliable desktop or laptop computer and a decent internet connection at home. This will ensure you can access all materials and utilize the online tools we’ll use throughout the course.
